Biketec AG will release 17 new Flyer models in the coming year. According to a statement, there will be more e-mountain bikes from the Uproc series as well as e-bikes for city use. Buyers in both segments will benefit from the latest Flyer Intelligent Technology (FIT), in which all of the bicycle’s e-components are networked together. For instance, sensors in the dipped headlights should increase safety. FIT is integrated into a number of the new models.
“We consciously incorporated the feedback from customers and dealers for 2017, including trendy colours in a stylish design and more models with wider tires,” said managing director Andreas Kessler when explaining the latest features. Biketec also impresses on a technical level and offers the Multi-Speed-Assist e-bike motor from Panasonic for its Uproc7 e-mountain bikes – a world first.
Biketec has been covering the urban sector since October with its U series. “The U series benefits from the advantages of the new FIT. In addition to aesthetics, special attention was paid to the ergonomics as well as optimised operating and readability comfort,” said chief technology officer Ivica Durdevic, when emphasising the advantages of the newest e-bikes for city use.
